Open Question: Help me with my iPhone!!?

I just ordered my iPhone off off AT&Ts website and thoght the subscriber info was the billing info so I put in my dads address instead of my address which made my primary place of use in Tennessee. My question is, what does the primary place of use change? Does it make the 3G worse or something? And could I change it if I went to the AT&T store?
